Perth Folk and Roots Club is back at the Inglewood Bowling & Sports Club on Sunday 27th April 2025. For this event, performances will be by John Talati and The Dudes of Grace. Free entry 5pm to 8pm.
A great supporter of Perth Folk and Roots Club, John Talati is a singer/songwriter who has played the Perth scene for many years and together with Adele, he has found a duet to bring together sweet harmonies and energy filled acoustic music.
John has released a number of original albums and covers many genres – folk, country, rock & jazz and performs all around Perth as a singer/guitarist/harmonica player and plays bass. His performances in bands include The Rick Steele band, Indigo Duck and the Lovebites.
The Dudes of Grace are a Fremantle based band that started in 2023 creating and rehearsing original music before bringing it to the public. They played their first public show on June 30th, 2024 and their first music festival, the Nanga Music Festival in October 2024.
They are thrilled to say that audiences have been responsive with big smiles on the faces of both young and not so young.
As quoted from the Nanga Music Festival guide - 'The Dudes of Grace play uplifting and entertaining original songs with hints of gypsy, pirate, and fairground. Performing eclectic, well crafted compositions, their powerful lead vocals, beautiful harmonies and multitude of instruments, (including accordion, saxophones, double bass, ukulele, guitars, harmonicas, drums and percussion)....will be sure to captivate you, lift your spirits and have you singing along'.
